We are fundraising to take 5 senior primary school kids (11/12 years old) and 3 staff from Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ōtepoti to the WIPCE (World Indigenous Peoples Conference on Education) conference in Toronto, Canada from 24-29 July. The KuraKids have been working with the Ahi Pepe MothNet citizen science project since it began in March 2016 and have the opportunity to present this amazing project to the world. This is a huge opportunity for these Tamariki to build their leadership.  With our help the Tamariki will have ONE HOUR to present "Science through and Indigenous Lens -  A  Moth Study" to an international audience of up to 4000 attendees.

We are determined and we've been working hard ....

But it's a lot of money for a small whanau .
